One of my favorite songs off Necktie Second. Hauntingly Beautiful. I love this version. At the same time, I can hear those awesome sustained electric guitar parts during the second verse and chorus, as well as Elaine's harmony. Thinking of all our friends who felt they had no other choice.

Hi Dan- Thank you. Yes... good to think of and remember those we've lost.

Props to producer Brendan O'Brien and engineer Russ Fowler for those gutiar tones—an old, Pelhum Blue Gibson 330, cranked... don't recall what amp. And yeah.. always love Elaine's harmonies.

Sounds great Pete!! I’ve always loved your songs man. Straylin Street is a masterpiece. 4th of July as well. I remember some great times that were sometimes blurry in the 90’s but I’m grateful we are still around my old friend and clearer than those days… Love and Respect . Mike

Thanks, Mike. I really appreciate hearing that... it means a lot coming from you. The respect is mutual. Oh yeah.... very blurry... I was just telling the story of my 21st birthday... you carried me to the car. Hope to see you soon!
