Hi Matthew- Me too! I bought a kick drum just like his after the session.

I'm really enjoying this! Recently bought vols 1&2 of Droge&Summers Blend and enjoying both as well. Quick question: I'm not finding the demo track of Two of the Lucky Ones on the Rarities page, and I ran into a similar issue the last time you posted something like this. Is it there (am I blind?) or was there some sort of glitch? I'd love to have the hi-res version! Thanks!

Hi pvz- Oops. I uploaded the track but forgot to hit save. It is there now.

Glad you are enjoying it all.

I feel like one of the lucky ones to hear and read this.

I have CDs of Volume One & Two. Was listening to them the other day. Good stuff!

Thanks, Hawk 'n' Roll! Lots more music from the Droge & Summers Blend era coming soon. But you probably already knew that seeing as I talk about it a lot around here. :)

Really enjoying both versions. That banjo is a nice touch!

Thanks. Yeah... Scott really added a lot with that banjo.

Pete, such a great song, such a great color you’ve created for it.

One other not so subtle addition from the basic track is the voice of Elaine Summers. I love all the additions and it turned out to be a great song. And thanks for adding to my music vocabulary - guiro.

All I can say is "Doh!" Yeah... not too subtle. Like I mentioned in my reply to Jeff's Hoyt's comment, I'm lucky to be surrounded by such great players. And and especially great singer!

I've always loved this song and very cool to get to hear the "studio floor" version of this first. You can really feel the process when you get to the full mix. So many light, subtle touches on this one that add that 'just right' quality.
