The Fourth Of July solo is easily my favorite solo of yours. It fits the song perfectly and builds into a rising, gritty exit throwing you into the last chorus. Just awesome.
And you dialed up one hell of a song. The one thing great musicians love more than anything else, is to have a beautiful piece of work to hang their art on. You supply that in spades Pete!

Ah shucks... Thanks Peter.
Good stuff Pete.
Thanks, Steve-O! It is fun to take a trip down memory lane with this stuff.
That music to the first video was great!
So many great memories to this album!!!
Hi Brian- I can't believe that I have no recollection of that song. The track sounds really cool. Glad you have fond memories of the album.
That cowbell…
"I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell!"
Love that film clip Pete. And the guitar goes: "Chonk Chonk Chonk!"
Hi Peter- Glad you dug the clip. Brendan is a great guitarist. He really has the touch. And Russ dialed up a great tone.
Thanks again for sharing this Pete.
You hinted a while back that the Fourth of July solo was special. Now we know some of that story.
Still brings a tear to my eye. It is so great.
Hope you guys have a great Independence Day.
Hi Jeff- Yeah... I'll never forget cutting that solo. It's burned in my memory. You have a great Independence Day too.
